I haven't blogged for a while. A large part of that is due to the fact that I was away on my second conference, and an even larger part of it is that I received some news upon getting back to Freiburg that shook me up quite a bit and didn't feel like writing very much afterwards. But the news, although bad, could have been a helluva lot worse - it's just taken me a while to realise that I should be grateful rather than upset. Maybe in a while I'll elucidate further, but for now it's still too precious to me.
Anyway, I'm back on the blogging wagon and have plenty to write about: so many times in the past fortnight I've found myself going "ooh, that's kinda cool, I'll blog about that in a while". The unfortunate thing is now that I'm sitting here in front of my computer and I can't remember a damn thing. Ahh. But at some point I will be going through a whole lot of things that I've had marked in my bloglines, as well as a few other bits of news and, of course, more stories about ze Life hier in Chermany.
But until then, it's enough to note that the second conference was good - long, but with enough fun in there - and that now I'm revving up for my project proposal presentation (my 3P, which I'm thinking about calling my 3P-Oh!) which is in mid-Nov and starting to make my stomach churn already. Yes, we all know how much I love presentations and other demonstrations of public speaking.
Sigh.
