My grandmother was here in Freiburg visiting me the other week - it was lovely to have her here and I'll blog about it further at some point, as well as putting up some photos I took. However, the milestone that I had was going in the taxi with her to the bahnhof (train station) and having a bit of a conversation with the taxi-driver ... and at one point he turned to me, after I said "Mein Deutsch ist nicht so super" and said "Aber verstehe ich dich". But I understand you.
Three months and three days, and I reach the milestone I'd been waiting for . Happy Jarv.
